So wrong About AMD

Haha I was so wrong about my AMD holding. The market is reacting quite negatively to the AMD earning release. I guess I would have to hold on to AMD for a while for any meaning full rebound.

AMD will post earnings the end of tomorrow! (or today)...it is midnight here. Hmmz I wonder how the market would react for AMD today.

I hope the strong Q4 would turn investor mind about investing back into the stock which can push to stock prices higher. We will have to see, if that happens, I may sell my positions at a profit.

Man...this may be the financial news that I am hoping for. Hopefully this good news will tag along the tech rally that is happening in Asia now. However, I do feel a little ...with the timing of CEO leaving and this news release. Yet, we just have to wait and see.

If there is a boost to AMD price above my price target, I may consider selling the stock. It really depends on how the overall market is doing. I am looking forward to tomorrow's stock trading day.

AMD's stock price is continuously dropping. I am a little sad about that, however I do think that the price will come back at a later time. So I will keep it for trading out of its position later.

I woke up to housing and banking sector pretty much lowering across the board. However, my PHM was holding up quite nicely at the beginning while KBG was down quite at almost negative 3%. I made a quick decision about buying KBH by using the fund from selling PHM. Below is a screen shot of my stock trade:

1/11 Bought AMD and Sold LEN

I said that I do not want to keep two stocks in the same industry. Therefore I decided to sell LEN today. However, I have been following AMD for quite some time. It had a surprise drop about 8% because of the current CEO outage.

I thought that the market overreacted. So I jumped in and grabbed myself some shares. It should be noted that I got a nice little $300 gain from the trading of LEN.

The past couple of days had been good for the solar industry. With LDK going up for 10%+, LDK's news propelled all the other solar stocks to do well as well. This is when I decided to pull out of the stock. So I sold CSIQ for neary $400 worth of gain.

I then used the proceeds to buy PHM. I now have two stocks in housing industry. So I may decide to sell one of my housing stocks at a later time.

I started the year getting into the solar and housing industry. The stocks that I picked were CSIQ and LEN. I am planning to sell the two as soon as I get decent enough gains.
