30-year fixed rates continue to rise
The mortgage rate appears to be rising again. I think it will help the stock market positively as it will bring more bystanders into buying into housing. Although I think alot of the stock or real estate buying comes from over sea money...cough cough China. We will have to see the intermediate term effect of this kind of buying.
Stock market is such a fun thing.

Damn. I think I sold FFIV stock too fast ;p. Although I did get $100 out of trading FFIV. If I had hold on to this stock instead of switching to KBH. I would have made more money during this trade. But then again, this is stock market. You never know. I made a bad financial call and I think now I just have to hold on to the stock for a little longer ><.
I think the stock FFIV's stock price went up simply because Cramer made an argument...again he is a well followed guy because of his show.

Ouch. Today's stock market is not nice to me. KB Home's stock prices went down quite a bit today compared to the other housing sector stocks. I guess this financial news is the reason why. This kind of lawsuit definitely hurts the company's bottom line.

This stock Superconductor Technologies (SCON) soared 40% in one day just because it produced some samples. I think this stock move is quite unrealistic. I wonder if it is manipulation or what. There is not much news about how much does it cost to produce one such component.

Interesting article..I wonder if this will become a lawsuit down the road. It seems that Microsoft is using some of Google's results for things that they cannot find.

Factory activity grows at fastest pace in 7 years
The stock market was doing really good today. Maybe it has somethings to do with the factory data. That investors are thinking that consumers are buying more, therefore factories are making more. I think in general it is a good thing.
I just hope that this short rally will not be short lived. I am keeping my holdings for a couple more days to see how they go. I might jump out at my stocks at any time when another buying opportunity presents itself.
Although I am quite up, if I sell anything right now. I would still be selling them at a loss instead of at breaking point. So...because I think this week will be kindly for stocks, I will keep them.

It is quite funny how on financial analyst's BS at different investment banks can propell or make stock prices go to hell. I am happy that this time a Citi analyst is pumping my AMD holding ;p. Although I bought it at a bit high price of $8.4...this pump brought the stock back to $7.9. Today's closing will be pretty good! Money is good.
This article also mentions Yum brand which controls KFC and Pizza hut. They are gonna lower the stake which I think is good. For some reason, I just dont think KFC is as tasty as before. For those of you who don't know. Yum is a company that owns controlling stake in restaurants such as Taco bell, KFC, Pizza hut, and Green tacos (I think).
I think overall the stock market will be up today, recovering from the financial shock that send everyone panicking on Friday.

This was a good post on an financial analysis of the fundamentals for the solar companies. It included the financial analysis of following companies: CSIQ / ENER / FSLR / JASO / LDK / PWER / SOL / SOLF / SPWRA / STP /.
Although the author of this article is really pro FSLR based on market fundamentals. We can kind of see that the stock market does not really react well when overall solar industry was out of investors favor in the past 2 years or so. I believe that although the rate of financial return on investment is important in terms of investing fundamentals, yet solar industry should not really focus on fundamentals...a huge part of industry should be tied in on how they could share their visions and executions to investors.
During this year I will be buying and selling solar stocks in the stock market. I think overall the solar industry will be experiencing a uptrend some experiencing some pretty wild ups and downs. So hopefully this will mean good monetary gains if I execute my trades right.
