How to Enter SkyBlue Trading Contest:
Follow these two simple steps:
Step 1:
Become a follower of this stock market blog.
Step 2:
Comment ON the post with your stock price call. For example, the stock in focus closes at $7.80 today, you can guess that it may close at $7.90 tomorrow or $7.60 tomorrow.
Earning Points
Depending on the dates of the month it is, you earn points when you either guess the stock price correctly, or if you are the closest out of all entrants. If someone predicts the stock price right on, the person who is closest still earns the points.
1st – 10th:
Predict Correct price: 3 points
Closest Prediction: 1 point.
11th – 20th:
Predict Correct price: 3 points
Closest Prediction: 2 points.
21th – Last day of month:
Predict Correct price: 4 points
Closest Prediction: 3 points.
Winning the pot
The points will be tallied on a daily basis. At the end of the month, first place will win $35, second place will win $10, and third place will win $5. The prize will be given to the winners via Paypal.
If more than one person has the same numbers of points, the stock market prize pool will be split evenly. In the event of 5 or morepeople with the same numbers of points, I will offer a tie breaker round to determine the winner. If top 3 player have same amount of points, they will share the entire stock market competition pot,

This daily stock market competition that I am hosting is completely free. You simply have to check back often for my latest offerings.
Where Are the Contest Post:
Check my stock market post archive. Look for posts that start with Predict ???? Stock Market Closing Price. Make sure that you participate in the latest one (the one that has not happened yet). For example, if you visit my blog on 1/29, you will want to participate in the 1/30 contest.
How Do You Make Money at Calling Stock Market Price:
If you call the correct price. You win the prize that I offer for the round. If multiple people win, the prize will be split among the people who guessed the stock price correctly.

I will post new daily competition between 1:00 p.m. PST to 8:00 p.m. PST most of the time.
Last Time to Register:
The last call for the stock market competition will close at 12:00 p.m. PST.
Claim Your Prize For Correct Stock Ticker Prediction:
If you do win, I will ask you to post your e-mail on the winning post. I will send you a payment link from PayPal. After I send the link, I will then delete your email information from my blog.
Purpose:
Educate you about basic stock market functions, daily fluctuation, and simple concepts. You do not need to go into details about profits and selling, just try your best to get a handle on how prices fluctuate on a day to day basis.
Basic Stock Market Concepts:
1. The US stock market opens from 6:30 a.m. PST to 1:00 p.m. (9:30 a.m. EST to 4:00 p.m. EST)
2. Stock Market prices fluctuate ups and down some time regardless of news events.
3. Check ticker prices with various finance websites. I recommend Google Finance. You can visit it, type in the ticker symbol for my stock price competition to view the current stock price.
