Solar firms are doomed and other news

Solar firms are doomed and other news

I disagree with this guy. I think more incentives will come as energy prices go up. Silicon solar will continue dropping in the future. Although that will cut into their profit margin. Yet overall I do believe Solar will be a growing industry in the future.

I will still be putting money into solar industry stock market throughout this year. It is still quite risky investment nevertheles for the short term.

  1. Solar, I think, needs to grow more efficient before I'd consider investing in them. I'd also like to see the panels become more resilient- After a local hailstorm, the panels I had installed were rendered useless.

    Interesting blog, though.

Followed- and I hope to see some profits, sir.

  2. As long as energy (oil, specificially) continues to be a finite resource, and a sustainable replacement cannot be found, writing off solar will be a big mistake.

  7. i would have to agree, solar would be a longggg term investment. in my opinion current way of things wont allow it to excel in the near future...until other resources are no longer feasible....which will happen :)

  15. we are going to get to a point where we are not going to have a choice but to use solar, here's hoping this technology grows in the same timeframe that we're going to need it on a large scale…
